YES!! yes. Thank you. Laws should not, and most are not, based on morality, but on protection of liberty. How, how, how is it that Americans, no less, don't see this? There are so, so, so many people (Americans!!) that don't understand this that I'm losing faith in our ability to continue to live in a free society. There was a recent Rolling Stone article on how many Americans are starting to resemble a Theocracy and it's no wonder when American adults don't understand what it is that protects their freedoms.
