But this is NOT a conventional war. One side is a state with a formal military. The other side is a terrorist organization hiding within the population of innocent civilians and using them as cannon fodder. If this was a conventional war than there would be a formal declaration. There has been none so it's not conventional so blaming Israel for starting it is the height of "blame the victim" insanity. And the other side never claimed that Israel was on their side of the border in the least. Your giving an excuse for them here.
Ceasefire order from the UN? The one that starts tomorrow? The one that said the Israel has to stop any 'offensive' attacks but can still blow the hell out of missile launchers being used to attack Israel? yes, that ceasefire. The one designed for Hezbollah to be re-armed. Love the UN. Schmucks. The answer to the veto is: How many of those resolutions have been one sided? How many refused to condemn the terrorist or other attack that caused Israel to respond in a way that the UN decided to condemn. How many of those one sided resolutions were backed by the same group of fascist states? How many brought by the Arab league for one reason and one reason alone: to attack Israel? If you look at all those vetoes and the reasons why they were vetoed then you'll see a trend. A trend where only one side is condemned. Same for the 3 and 3 condemnations from the new so called human rights council of the UN. Don't trust me on this. Look it up yourself and ask yourself if they tell the whole story and deals with all the facts or both sides. You might actually be surprised. Or maybe not. > What was said was that Israel initiated the Convential War. And they did. > > A terrorist organisation crossed the border and kidnapped Israeli > soldiers.
