Right, at my old company we had to drop linux and CF because our customers were wanting .NET. So good luck with that.
I don't have a problem with unix, I just don't particularly see the need in paying more for things that do the same thing. I've yet to see an application or need to run any OS or system over another besides personal preference. Performance and stability end up being about the same with properly managed systems when you are talking about the server side. From a Enterprise wide desktop management system I've not seen anything comparable to Active Directory/SMS environment. The ability to manage patches for more than just the OS, deal with authentication and authorization across network resources including desktops, servers and applications is something that I've not seen available in UNIX environments. > -----Original Message----- > From: Gruss Gott [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, February 21, 2007 1:27 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Re: PC World has weighed in on Vista and it does not look > pretty > > > Denny wrote: > > BSD > > DOES freaking rock. > > > > Dude!
