I'm talking about the hardware more than the software. With a Mac I have
three options for a desktop, the Mini, the iMac, and MacPro. With
windows I have unlimited options. I can build my own if I like.

Which is why I don't like it. I want to change the graphics card out in
a couple of years. I've had the same case and one of the same monitors
for nearly 6 years now. I like the case; I upgrade things I want to. I
don't want to be forced in to buying a complete new package every time I
want to upgrade some hardware. Apple won't let me do that.

See that isn't of value to me. The GUI is ok, it doesn't blow me away,
but then again I don't buy it for the GUI. The GUI itself is fairly low
on the list. I'm more concerned about the applications I can run on it.

In looking at my desktop at home, the only thing that I could run on the
Mac that I currently have installed is the Adobe suite. Last I checked
the Adobe Suite sucked on the Mac from a performance standpoint. I don't
know if they have released an Intel Optimized Adobe suite for the Mac
yet.

I couldn't play games, or run 95% of the apps that I run at home.

Why would I spend the money for a Mac just run boot camp and be in
windows 99% of the time?

Pretty good example, something most people don't care about, costs more,
but makes them feel cool. I wouldn't buy a car with that, it is another
example of why do I need that?
