Naw, I just despise the demagoguery on these issues on both sides of
the fence.  It's just plain cowardly.

It annoys the hell out of me when stupid policies are sold with
emotions.  Like "fight 'em over there so we don't have to fight 'em
over here"  It uses fear to sell a policy that can't be sold on its
merits (which is a sure sign we shouldn't do it).

This is the same: think-of-children is used to sell a bad policy that
can't be sold on its merits; so we shouldn't do it.
