This happened to a friend of mine.  Some company sent her a nasty email 
telling her she had to turn over some domain she had registered.  I told her 
to tell them to send her their demands from their attorney via certified 
mail or she would ignore anything else they said to her.  She never heard 
from them again.  Apparently, they were just trying to bully her out of the 
domain.
