Phew!!! Glad to hear it...i'd never heard anything bad about Cancun until this thread started. I've never been, and my wife wants a vacation somewhere warm, so we were thinking Cancun because it's close and cheap. You can get a nice 4 or 5 star all inclusive without breaking the bank.
