Most of my neighbors have home security systems. The local police force will come out to 2 false alarms per year, and then you have to pay. Why? Because people's laziness, poor planning, or mistakes are placing an undue burden on the police force and the tax payers are funding it. So the police make those prone to those problems personally accountable. What's the controversy here? I'm simply asking those that favor super-standard operations to fund them or execute on them theirselves, just as the police are asking me to do. By your logic you should pay for my mistakes - or even my choice? Great! I propose you fund a SWAT team to sit in front of my house 24/7. And if you don't pay - or do it yourself - then you suck.
