That sounds like you're hiding behind process to avoid accountability. Either way, if I believed as you did - that the US taxpayer should pay for the occupation and building of foreign country that didn't ask for it or attack the US, and that the US soldier should die for that - I couldn't live with myself if I didn't sign up. This is because it seems obvious to me that the US soldier, like a firefighter or cop, is there to do a standard job. But Iraq isn't a standard job - it's a special one, and so for me the right thing to do would be to sign up and put my feet where my mouth is. It's the exact same reason why the police charge me a $100 for the 3rd time my house alarm calls them. I think that's fair. Do you think foreign police work and nation building is the expected norm for the US professional soldier? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;192386516;25150098;k Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:258767 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
