Your beginning stats don't seem all that bad. That's not a bad mile
time at all. It'll be interesting to see how things change for you.
I'm doing a "cut the crap" challenge this month - no processed food,
no refined sugar, no fried food, lots of fresh fruits, veggies, nuts
and whole grains. 1 week down, and I'm feeling pretty good. The sugar
cravings aren't nearly as bad any more.
