Can't speak to the first, but I can say that my software CFWebstore has very 
nice drop-shipper features. You can assign a drop-shipper to each product, and 
it will create a separate invoice for each drop-shipper, email it to them 
(using their internal SKU numbers and wholesale prices, separate from what your 
customers see), and also split the shipping charges if necessary. I do have a 
few other customers with the same sort of business model that you are 
describing, but like any new business, it's always a challenge to make it 
successful.
