This is a great example. The cost of aviation is spread very far
beyond people who use the service.

Executtive from "Left Handed Smoke Shifters Inc" (LHSSI) flies to a
business meeting in Toledo - cost of ticket (which contains regulatory
cost) is passed to anyone who buys a Left Handed Smoke Shifter.

Raw materials and finished goods of LHSSI are flown to and from
destinations and incur aviation regulatory costs passed along to
consumers.

Or LHSII decides not to pass the cost to consumers... Employee of
LHSSI doesn't get pay raise. Can't buy a new iPod - more impact.

Or LHSSI decides to lower the dividends it's paying to all those "rich
people". Retirement funds get less money, pensions of 80 year old
grandma's suffer.

Yes, great example.
