I am not advocating that we just drill.  I think we do need to invest in
alternative/renewable energy sources, but I also think that as long as the
need for oil exists, we should try to make sure as much of that need is met
by getting it from our own house.

I wish solar, wind, biofuel was a viable option right now.  Have they gotten
better in recent years, absolutely, but they still have a ways to go.

One thing I would like to see is that we open up the offshore stuff for
drilling, but any company that  drills there needs to spend a certain amount
of money developing or investing in alternative/renewable energy. I think
that would be a nice tradeoff
