Glad I'm not the only one.  There isn't too much that I would keep
(and TW sounds like it is the same as Comcast, more or less).  I would
start at the very beginning and redo the whole thing.  I don't have
the answers as to what exactly I would change, but then again, I am
not a UI guru.  I just know what works and doesn't work when I am
presented it.

As a side, note, I put this into a blog post, and within one hour, I
got a response from Comcast Customer Service in my comments section:

"Thanks for the feedback. We are currently making improvements on our
DVR. I will share your feedback to the appropriate department.
Hopefully, you will the improvements soon."

I'm not sure what this means, it is very vague, but I had to laugh.
This was my second rant against them, and the second time I was
contacted by some agent of theirs.  At least they are keeping an eye
on what is being said about them!
