I'm supposing that you are speaking to the line where I said that Michael should "please take it somewhere where you don't run up against the very complicated and greyscale actual world."
If not, I apologize and will happily seek clarification. If that is what you mean, that is no call to censorship. Rather it is a call to point out that the world outside our little mental narratives is quite complicated. And that I feel that the narrative the Michael introduced around Afghanistan (specifically potentially moderate elements of the Taliban) is unhelpful and ill informed and that the only way his world view is going to be supported in that situation is a thoroughly artificial situation where the complications of the real world are drawn away. I do not presume to tell Michael what to think, nor you. I do not believe I ever have. If so, I apologize. I will most certainly tell you when I fundamentally disagree with your expressed views however, list owner or not. If that is an offense which suggests I be removed, well, then there you go. That is the power of the list owner.
