They have all this tech for the most part, they just don't use it. As in what happened to me, every book and every computer will tell a nurse or doctor that you don't give Demerol to a patient with low blood pressure, but no amount of tech will keep them from being stupid, unless you lock the meds in a locked cabinet and require them to enter all possible vital stats before it will open.
