The global climate and the global economy are complex systems. Ridiculous to

LOL, you really think we can destroy the planet? We could set off every nuke
we have and we would barely make a dent. We'd all be dead, but the planet
would continue on as it had for billions of years. Not just misguided but
incredibly arrogant.

I am all about people making money in the free market. This is not a free
market, it is a rigged market created by the government to give handouts to
political favorites, which I don't like.

The proposed action is 100% guaranteed not to work without total global
participation (meaning those pesky Chinese and Indians you seem so
dismissive of). So you are suggesting that we spend the money on an
investment that is guaranteed to fail, regardless of the science. That's
nothing but a gigantic scam.
