Just have to argue your logic here.  You yourself are not responsible
for someone else's actions.  Period.  Yes you might be stupid for
leaving your wallet out in the open, but not responsible because the
person took it.  That's like saying that if someone broke into my house
and took my gun and killed someone with it I am responsible because they
used my gun.
