Using your wallet analogy. Let's say there is $100 in the wallet - left out in the open. Somebody wanders by and scoops the money. Who's responsible? Let's say that $100 is mine on loan to you. Who's responsible?
Not my analogy, but I would be responsible to pay you back, however not responsible that someone took the money. Am I responsible if someone breaks into my car and steals it and runs over someone. Nope. They are. Would I be responsible if I gave them the keys. Nope. Now if I gave them they keys knowing they were incapacitated somehow then you might be able to assign some blame to me. -----Original Message----- From: Eric Dawson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, May 15, 2002 2:11 PM To: CF-Community Subject: RE: Episode II >>Just have to argue your logic here. That's like saying that if someone broke into >>my house and took my gun and killed someone with it I am responsible >> >>because they used my gun. But you ARE responsible for your OWN actions. I don't want to get into the morality of the thread, but there are two parties involved in the distribution of illegal materials. Period. Using your wallet analogy. Let's say there is $100 in the wallet - left out in the open. Somebody wanders by and scoops the money. Who's responsible? Let's say that $100 is mine on loan to you. Who's responsible? guilt or wrong doing by another party does not absolve responsibility. ______________________________________________________________________ Your ad could be here.
