Here's the basic criteria.
1. Will the Arab world stop attacking Israel if there's a Palestinian state?
1a. Will the Palestinians live up to their signed word and stop attacks against
Israel?
1b. Will Egypt stop arms smuggling as they are supposed to do by treaty?
1c. Will Lebanon stop attacks against Israel across the internationally recognized
border?
1d. Will Syria stop funding and supporting groups who attack Israel?
1e. Will Saudi Arabia, our great Arab ally stop sending money and arms to killers?
1f. Will Iran stop sending money and arms to killers?
1g. Will Iraq stop sending money and arms to killers?
If the answer to the above is no, then there is no peace and no end to the settlements
in the disputed territories. If the answer is yes, then go to step 2.
2. If a Palestinian will be created in exactly 30 days, is that enough to cause the
Arab world to stop attacking Israel as outlined above?
If the answer to the above is no, then there is no peace and no end to the settlements
in the disputed territories. If the answer is yes, then go to step 3.
3. If there is to be true peace, then Israel has shown itself willing to give up land
won in a defensive war and allow the creation of yet another Arab state.
It's really all that simple. Peace results in peace. Stop killing and get what you
want. This is what got the Palestinians all the land they already have and would have
gotten them everything if they could only hold back from trying to destroy Israel.
Peace for peace. What a novel idea.
