And if the 'economy' was booming, I'm sure the Dumbya camp would also be
laying sole responsibility on Clinton. I'm only somewhat of a programmer, so
maybe that's why this seems like one sided logic.

The first thing people want to do on the verge of world war ('Axis of Evil
tough talk') is whip out the credit cards and go shopping!!! Seems quite the
opposite to me. The only people still doing major spending these days are
the federally funded defense industries. Not a good sign for the rest of the
country when all of our productivity is being invested in hurting other
people (defending).

When a president actively seeks war, cuts education spending, and then
increases defense spending - he's going to piss people off. Do you think any
of this might be the reason your court appointed leader gets so much flak
"from dem long-haired smart people over yonder"?
