Would one of you from the "GW is a court appointed president" team please discuss all of the recounts that have been performed? How many would have swayed the election if the Supreme Court hadn't interfered. Again, I don't remember seeing a single one. So if you can't show a recount that supports your view and there are recounts that support Bush won with and without the Supremes, are you just avoiding reality?

Obviously when the economy was > booming it didn't > help Al Gore win a landslide. I guess "It's not the economy, stupid" But even with his monotone personality he did win the public's vote. Bush needed to be appointed into office by the court. Which is more honorable? I still attribute this to many people's lost faith in the election system and the govt. in general. > > > > The first thing people want to do on the verge of world war > ('Axis of Evil > > tough talk') is whip out the credit cards and go > shopping!!! Do you know first hand that these people are buying out of their pocket? Or should you rephrase "more people are borrowing from the bank than ever before."? Tell me something else new. It's fun to ignore national debt, I know, just look at what happened to Japan. That will never happen to us though ;) You'd be an idiot to buy right now IMO. > > > > > > When a president actively seeks war, cuts education > spending, and then > > increases defense spending - he's going to piss people off. > Do you think > any > > of this might be the reason your court appointed leader > gets so much flak > > "from dem long-haired smart people over yonder"? > > Who has the approve all his spending, I guess the democrat controlled > congress does don't they. We're talking about the president and his political views. The congress/senate/check-balances system is full of shortcomings and often ends in compromises. Are we discussing that, or are we discussing your leader? Seems like you're just on a mission to spread blame and not discuss your leader's politics/views. > > > > > > > Adam. > > > > > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists&body=lists/cf_community Signup for the Fusion Authority news alert and keep up with the latest news in ColdFusion and related topics. http://www.fusionauthority.com/signup.cfm
