Good and cheap drinkin' alert!!

BV Zin 2001 is a great buy at ~$13 a bottle... hasn't been released yet
(AFAIK) but BV accidentally sent a case to a distributor that promptly
brought it to a tasting a few months ago at the wine store I frequent.

That 1974 George sounds great! only one more year to go!!!

^_^

It reminded me of one of my other Penfold's purchases from last year... 1997
Grange (Shiraz) saving it for our daughter's wedding (she was born in 1997).
Raspberry jam and tobacco flavors...mmmmmm...good drinkin'

I've found I've been particularly drawn to Zin this year. Biale Black
Chicken and Spenker Vinyards; and Neyers. And you can't go wrong with
Rombauer's Zin!

^_^

will
