Carb withdrawals? I sure think so.
Have been having some headaches etc.

According to what I've read in South Beach Diet so far,
the yo-yo swings in blood sugar from high intake of simple
carbs can make you "insulin resistant".

The first two weeks of the diet, virtually no carbs,
break you of this. Got to have some side effects.

After, you add back good carbs (whole grains with fiber)
but continue to avoid bad carbs (refined white flour etc.).

U.C. Berkeley Wellness Letter, a respected health monthly,
says South Beach looks like a sensible, healthy diet, and
the not-so-healthy first 2 weeks is short enough to not hurt.
