First off, it's an absolute bargain in terms of increased productivity! Second, $299 is very reasonable for professional development software - look at Zend Studio and Visual Studio Professional. > Do you use it? Every day. Adobe ColdFusion Builder is open 24x7 on my desktop machine. I have it installed standalone with a handful of other plugins (git for version control and Clojure / Scala plugins too). > Or do you use cf eclipse or another alternative? On my Ubuntu netbook, which I use when I'm on the road, I have to use CFEclipse and that's when I appreciate CFBuilder even more. Don't get me wrong, CFEclipse is great for the price and it's a huge achievement for a string of volunteer, mostly non-Java developers over the years - but it's missing a lot of features which I rely on in my day-to-day work, including several extensions (which is one of the absolute killer features of CFBuilder!): http://www.adrocknaphobia.com/assets/content/images/ColdFusion_Builder_Compare.png -- Sean A Corfield -- (904) 302-SEAN Railo Technologies, Inc. -- http://getrailo.com/ An Architect's View -- http://corfield.org/ "If you're not annoying somebody, you're not really alive." -- Margaret Atwo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/message.cfm/messageid:341289 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/unsubscribe.cfm
