Bob,

For me, movement means things sliding around, not more things
appearing in different locations with the existing things remaining in
place, so another stage for halves is not adding movement. I guess I
don't require movement to be aware of new information, and I want as
little new happening at once as possible, so movement tends to
accentuate the message that something new is being added. Movement may
be required if multiple new things are happening at once and some are
working in relation to others, but I would look for movement to be
used infrequently.
