what's it's worth. I bought a '69 SS 396 numbers matching car that needs paint,
tires, carpet and exhaust system, and some other stuff, for $4,000.
That included window sticker, invoice, original wheels as well as a set of
Keystone Classics. Sorry, sounds high to me.

I'm stuck. A friend of mine wants to sell a 68 Chevelle SS. The body and everything was just redone. New paint etc. It needs an engine and transmission, it's a 4 speed. The only think I don't like about it, is the hood, which has a six inch rise in it and the interior, in which they put a red velvet strip in the center of the seats. He'll sell to me for $7,500. Can anyone give me advise. Is this a good deal or what. Thanks.
