I'm running a 700R4 in my BMW SBC project.http://www.personal.kent.edu/~wbainey/BMW.htm I went with the NON-lockup converter based on the rebuilders recommendations. It works fine for me but I would imagine if I would have gone with the Lockup and a manual switch gas mileage would have gone up a few MPG if I could keep my foot out of it. Walt
