I did the dash swap about 10 years ago on a 70 Chevelle I had. You
will need a different dash harness for the SS dash. Also, there are two
different printed circuits for the back of the gauge cluster on the SS dash- one
for guages and one for lights. The bracing on SS and non-SS dashes is the
same.
