I forgot to mention that, because Katie is so tiny, they probably had trouble locating her tiny vein. Maybe that's where the bruising came from. Besides the bruise, Katie looks great by the way! The bruise is probably from where the vet/vet tech withdrew blood. Did she have a pre-op blood screening? The neck area is where dog's blood is usually drawn from. I bruise sometimes after getting blood drawn, too. It's probably nothing to worry about at all.
