You are probably right. I can still see her veins on her tummy, but not in her neck. Last night, Katie started acting like herself again. She's full of energy and it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep her from running. I wish I could show all of you the instructions I got from the vet stating what I need to do for Katie. It has a pic of Katie centered left and "My Big Day at Pope Animal Hospital" centered right with "by Katie" under it. Then it goes on to tell every detail of what Katie went through from the moment she arrived at the hospital. And it's told from Katie's point of view. It's really CUTE!!

I forgot to mention that, because Katie is so tiny, they probably had trouble locating her tiny vein. Maybe that's where the bruising came from. Besides the bruise, Katie looks great by the way! From: Stefanie Brannan <[email protected]>

Don't worry Sharon. The bruise is probably from where the vet/vet tech withdrew blood. Did she have a pre-op blood screening? The neck area is where dog's blood is usually drawn from. I bruise sometimes after getting blood drawn, too. It's probably nothing to worry about at all. From: SharonK <[email protected]>

As you all know, Katie was spayed and had 12 teeth pulled on the 30th. Please look at these 2 pics and tell me why she has that bruise on her neck?!?!
