Stefanie, what auto immune disease does your dog have ? My foster
Harry was recently diagnosed with immune mediated vasculititis and
polymyosititis, and is on Preddnisone and Immuran. He was nearly dead
when I got him, I syringe fed him every hour for a couple of weeks,
now he is eating and can walk without falling over, but still vomits
every night

to work in a cat hospital and that is what they did.  Also, my Aussie,
Zoe, has an auto-immune disease and requires blood tests every 3
months or so.  They always withdraw from the neck artery (carotid
artery).  It doesn't seem to hurt them at all, even if they bruise.
