I give monster heartworm prevention and he hasn't had any problems with it.
He's been taking it for a year or so now. The only problem we had was getting
him to take it because it was a small chewable pill and he would eat around it
so we switched him to heartguard which is a big treat that he loves. But we
still have to get him to take the flea pills and we tried the pill pockets and
they worked. They are big so I only put the pill in a little piece of it and
they smell real strong and are thick so he doesn't even notice the pill I
think. Have you tried those for giving the antibiotics to him?

I'm not sure either unless we misunderstood. My hubby just decided to go ahead
then give him the heart worm medicine. Have you been giving yours heart worm
medicine and have they had any effects. He's been tested for heart worms and it
came back negative, he didn't have it. So wouldn't the medicine prevent him
from getting it. And I think she said not to give him the puppy heart worm
medicine I'm not sure. But when we went to our vets office that's the medicine
they gave us.
