I loved it too and when I worked at the hospital because I was there so many years when someone left our team I was often asked to take over.... with no idea of what I was doing. So yes, it must be so hard on them as we know they love to please us. My problem is the wet grass they hate it, but also do not like pee pads. I have hardwood floors so if their is an accident its no big deal. However, they seem to like to use the area rug - so you just do the best you can. Maggie has been my hardest to train. Abbey and Sami both had it down in a couple of days. Sami used a litter box at first then when he saw the other dogs use the lawn he wanted to be a big boy too. Miss Maggie has a mind of her own, once the weather gets better it will be fine. I do think that in the 50's and 60's the vets use to tell us to rub their nose in it so they would know. I never did because I was always kissing on my dogs and I did not want them to smell like urine nor did I wish to kiss urine. Nan
