Hi Jonathan, thanks for responding;

I started to test this last night. It seems that the extension "Last
Pass" was the issue. Once I disabled it and Google Bookmarks Sync
altogether it seemed to improve the situation. I'm not sure Last Pass
is the culprit entirely as it was working prior OK. It might be the
combination of extensions combined with having Google Bookmarks
enabled at startup. <shrug> Thing is once Chrome got everything loaded
it worked OK.

Disabling Google Bookmarks Sync feature on it's own didn't have any
impact on the startup issue.

So for now having done the above it seems OK, only now I have no way
to sync passwords to my other browsers. Oh well I'm on the developer
channel so these hiccups are to be expected.
