Are you serious?! It takes you 2+ minutes to load 1/3 the amount of bookmarks?
I didn't consider that it was the amount of bookmarks as it was much snapper just a day or 2 ago; but, I have added bookmarks since then. So, I thought for giggles I'll delete all my bookmarks and see if the issue persists. It didn't; With all my extensions enabled Chromium/Google-Chrome both launced in about a second or 2 without any hang. Therefore everything else was incidental in this; I just have too many bookmarks. The situation isn't really hardware specific though as the same issue appeared on my i7 workstation. Chrome/Chromium just seems to have an issue with loading over 3k bookmarks. <shrug> So time to "cull" the bookmarks. LOL Thanks everyone for your input, it helped me to look elsewhere for the cause.
