Are you serious?! It takes you 2+ minutes to load 1/3 the amount of bookmarks?

I didn't consider that it was the amount of bookmarks as it was much
snapper just a day or 2 ago; but, I have added bookmarks since then.

So, I thought for giggles I'll delete all my bookmarks and see if the
issue persists. It didn't; With all my extensions enabled
Chromium/Google-Chrome both launced in about a second or 2 without any
hang.

Therefore everything else was  incidental in this; I just have too
many bookmarks. The situation isn't really hardware specific though as
the same issue appeared on my i7 workstation. Chrome/Chromium just
seems to have an issue with loading over 3k bookmarks. <shrug>

So time to "cull" the bookmarks. LOL

Thanks everyone for your input, it helped me to look elsewhere for the cause.
