Again, I suspect that with the sheer number of bookmarks you have the
file simply takes time to load, given the limitations of your
connexion. Have you checked to see how large, in fact, your bookmarks
file is and what the downstream speeds provided by your ISP really are
in practice ? To take my situation as an example, he nominal
downstream speed provided me by my ISP is 8Mbs, but in reality I never
get more than 6.75 Mbs, which I understand is quite good for an ADSL
connexion. And if the Google servers are very busy when you try to
load your bookmarks, you can expect that doing so will take even more
time. So I doubt that the problem lies with Chromium/Chrome - unless
it's the case that your bookmarks load much more quickly from a
different browser....
