I do agree about priorities. But not sure how you are getting away with
the figures you mention. You'll have to teach me how to spend $20. on
food for four at a four day show site? <G> (I'm assuming arrival on
Thursday night and leaving Monday, but we sometimes can manage to drive
back on the Sunday night if it is close enough; again there's the rub!)
We share one room now (but in past have been able to have two for the
four of us); don't think we could squeeze more people or dogs into a
room. In the end, it is never cheaper than $600-$700 per show for us!
(Just one hotel room at average $90. per night for four nights and
you're up there!).
Just can't swing it, nor can I take my kids out of school two days a
month, etc. Wish I had the means, but don't.
