Dear List:
Why do we keep coming back to this? The question of AKC or not AKC has been
over and done with for more than 5 years. Those of us who were against
becoming part of the AKC then have since moved on and either chosen to
participate in the AKC world, or not. I would not call this hypocrisy, I'd
call it accepting the reality that change is constant and making personal
choices about how to react to those changes. Our goal should be finding a
middle ground where we can all participate in all Cavalier activities without
fear of reprisal. I, for one, might enjoy attending an AKC specialty, but
frankly, with all the vitriol still directed at the Club, I'm afraid to show
up!!
