Marilyn, he could be seeing the children as his littermates and acting
accordingly. Think about how a litter will "play fight" amongst themselves.
If that is what is happening, then he can be trained out of it. The solution
is to give him a tap on the nose coupled with a stern, sharp "NO!" every
time he growls at a human. It will work for the situation that I mentioned,
but not if his problem is caused by something else.
