Donna,
I would avoid a c-section like so many other breeders have suggested; it is
used as a last resort. I would ask your vet for someone he trusts to do the
surgery, if it became necessary. Try not to become anxious and trust your
bitch will let you know if she is in trouble. If a cavalier breeder is not
near you you might try calling your AKC club in the area and asking for a
local toy breeder. This person may be willing to help you if you need
assistance or advice during delivery. Good luck!
