A c-section is not without problems.  It sometimes takes the bitches up to
48 hours to start "mothering" after a c-section, and may even take a while
for milk to come in.  I would choose a natural delivery any day!

I would make sure that you have another vet on call, or at least an
emergency clinic, in case a c-section would become necessary.  Perhaps you
can get your vet to draw you up a couple doses of oxytocin to have on hand,
to be used if she takes longer than 2 hours between puppies (and one for the
clean-out shot), as well as a prescription of antibiotics, in case she has a
fever again.
