I had no idea of the difficulty you have in obtaining cardiologists in Australia and New Zealand. Do you mean to say that in Melbourne, Perth , Adelaide, Wellington, Aukland - major towns in these two countries, there are absolutely no veterinary cardiologists?
Australia has the same distance problems as the USA -- would it be possible for the local Cavalier or All Breed Clubs to arrange a Cardiology Clinic for two days, over the weekend, annually in each of the populated areas? The Clubs could arrange for the cardiologist to fly in for the clinic. Once a year is enough as long as all the breeding dogs (including bitches) can be seen.
