Well folks, I can truly say that this latest group of threads has provided
me with no small amount of insight. In the past few days we (list members)
have learned or shown that:

...If you are not Americans, you are wrong.
...If you don't test as I say test, regardless of where you live,
regardless of whether there are vets that are even available or not, you
are wrong.
...Just because you have been breeding longer than the working careers of
many people and have consistantly produced Champions, and those Champions
have consistantly produced Champions....AND are healthy to boot...AND those
Championships are MUCH harder to come by in your country than in the
USA.....nope, sorry, you STILL don't get any respect. (This one STILL has
me confused....where's the logic?)
...Many times, those in the UK pay more attention to what goes on in the US
than we do....especially in the areas of health. (scary, isn't it?)
...Lists can become nasty quick...and nastiness feeds on itself.
...There are those list members from around the world that will attempt to
"put out fires" on the list. (THANK YOU!!!)
...Even harsh, cruel, hurtful statements are forgiven by some as they
attempt to inform list members of the way things are done where they live,
and why. (again, Thank You !!)
...Some people are so hell-bent on being what they perceive as "right" that
they will even fabricate the numbers in order to "prove it".
...Kathy Yonkers is a much needed voice "crying out in the wilderness".
(and she has a couple of counterparts in the UK and NZ, but you know how
those foreigners are...they embarrass too easily to mention publicly VBG)
...She/He who shouts loudest and longest is not always right.
...Some folks simply will NOT give up, nor will they listen to reason.

etcetera, etcetera, etcetera....ad nauseum...<grin>

Yes, everyone has a right to their opinion, and in a democratic society,
the right to voice that opinion. Too many of the statements made over the
past few days have demonstrated a total lack of respect, not only respect
for breeders but respect for other human beings. (My opinion) I want to
take this opportunity to thank each one who has attempted to make their
points with tact and respect for others. Many of you have been "in dogs"
for a long time, others of you will no doubt remain involved in this breed
for years to come. Others.....will just fade away.

We are rapidly approaching the time of year when many will be observing the
special Holy days, each according to their own faith. Can we start
preparing our hearts now for that time? The list will be a much nicer
place for it.
