One of my dogs developed severe rheumatoid () arthritis at a young age. She was put
down before her 3rd birthday. The vets at Va. Tech. couldn't save her. An autopsy
was done, her front wrists had actually separated from her bones. Her toes were
totally curled under. Her body was attacking itself and nothing they tried could stop
it. I had e-mailed the list when this happened, to see if anyone had heard of
anything else like it, but got no response. I can connect your friend to the dogs
owners to exchange information if they are interested. I hope it's not the same thing.

They do want a replacement for her, but of course they want another small, (she was
only 10 lbs.), beautiful blenheim girl and I haven't bred one yet. Let me know if
anyone can help.
