I agree 100% Barbara.  My first Cavalier almost never barked, but
learned to from my second cavalier (LOL)....but when I send them
out in the fenced yard, I always say "NO BARK"  and they are really
good.  If I catch them starting I go to the door and say "NO BARK"
again and they are very obedient!    I cannot imagine ever debarking
a dog!   Just a pet owner's humble opinion.
