How would you feel if your neighbours dog started barking at 2 am and continued until you either let him into the bedroom or out and then into the bedroom barking all of the way?
I would feel very much like choking my neighbours but at no stage would I consider surgically altering any dog to stop it from barking. Goodness me whatever next? Can't anyone take some responsibility to train their dogs and if you are not capable of that are you keeping too many dogs to suit your situation. I am sorry to sound so harsh but as someone who has actually exported cavaliers, all be it not many, to the USA , I am appalled and dismayed to read that debarking still goes on. For goodness sake finding health problems that necessitate surgery is bad enough, what you are suggesting is to my mind totally unacceptable.
