Hello List--
    If we accept that cavaliers should have "well laid back shoulders"
and "well turned stifles" and "well let down hocks" then...why should we
not expect the best of them to move as their construction dictates--to
single-track, with excellent reach and drive, and to achieve these
qualities NOT at excessive speed? And to maintain a level topline while
they're at it...I've seen Cavaliers that can do this, and it seems to me
that this fluid, effortless, elegant movement should be what we are all
striving for in our breeding programs...
