        Yes, this makes sense; "alert" would mean to mean that the head wasn't
dragging on the ground sniffing bait. <G>  I just couldn't shake the
image of the "proud head, arched neck, etc" looking much like an Arab
and not, in my opinion, like a Cavalier would move.

As I know you know horses, I thought you might get what I was asking.
