No more insulting than insinuating pet owners should not have a vote. I've already answered in a previous post why we should have the right to vote for officers. (And yes, I am a regular, voting member). Would I vote against show dogs being trimmed, bleached, etc? Yes. Because it's against the standard. Anything that affects the breed is of interest to me and most informed pet owners. I have trouble figuring out why that's so difficult for some people to understand.
